Service Delivery Manager

Due to a year of substantial growth, we currently have an exciting opening for you to join our highly skilled and collaborative team as a Service Delivery Manager in our fantastic DAF Fleet Services organisation in Devizes. We are part of one of the largest and most respected DAF dealer groups in Europe and DAF are the largest truck manufacturer in the UK with record growth and award winning trucks year on year. As a Service Delivery Manager, we can offer you:

  • Base salary of GBP44,000-GBP47,000 (depending on your experience)

Who are we looking for as a Service Delivery Manager:

Ideally, you will have the following skills / experience and a pragmatic approach to management:

  • Experience of Fleet Management or the Commercial Vehicle / Automotive sector would be a distinct advantage.
  • Customer first ethos with real drive to provide high levels of engagement and team working
  • Customer Service planning and execution
  • Automotive / Commercial Vehicle background or transferrable industry working with stakeholders to drive customer service
  • Ability to engage and influence across internal and external management pools
  • Have a can do attitude and enjoy troubleshooting
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbally
  • Be organised, resilient and have the ability to drive a team in the same manner

The Service Delivery Manager role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):

The principle objective of the team is to provide great customer service through supporting our customers to have an increasingly available fleet on a day to day basis and by communicating thoroughly to ensure they can plan for scenarios that arise as a result of their vehicles being off the road ad proactively mitigating the chance of asset failure. You will lead the team that will be responsible for managing the uptime, communication channels and risk mitigation to customers and build strong collaborative relationships personally and through your team. This will primarily be with DAF s dealer network, the largest in the UK. You will have day to day responsibility for KPI adherence and chairing groups to escalate and solve issues that can lead to poor customer experience. Mitigating VOR downtime and proactive reduction via a robust process of liaison, support and working with other providers through our large portfolio of support to deliver great service through prioritisation and issue resolution. At DAF Fleet Services, our customers experience of us and the wider DAF community is of primary importance and this team will be integral to doing this in a key area of customer management for DAF with a wider view on additional valuing adding initiatives always on your agenda. You will be part of a driven, motivated management team who have overseen the introduction and rapid growth of this organisation.

Working Monday Friday, 8am to 5pm.
