Service Design Lead - 6 months OUTSIDE IR35 Day Rate Contract - Netherlands Hybrid WFH/Onsite 3 days p/w
An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Service Designer to join a leading organization on an initial 6-month contract. As a Service Designer, you’ll take ownership and lead all Service Design activities, ensuring they meet the highest standards and are delivered on time. Collaborating with multifunctional teams including product designers, technical architects, and delivery experts you’ll create and enhance services that prioritize people, inclusivity, impact, and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support team members in understanding the value of design

• Negotiate design briefs and service developments

• Lead Service Design activities, delivering outcomes aligned with business, end user, and organizational needs

• Develop high-level Service Models

• Define detailed processes, including:

o Discovery of existing process landscape and requirements

o Definition of new processes to meet requirements

o Identification of roles, responsibilities, and engagement points

o Collaboration with Cybersecurity SMEs to create work instructions

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 6 years of Service Design experience

• Senior Service Designer background

• Proficiency in choosing and applying design methods across different project phases

• Strong documentation skills with attention to detail

• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams

• Familiarity with other user-centered design practices

• Ability to work with both waterfall and Agile methodologies

• Exposure to various industries, from small enterprises to blue-chip organizations

• Knowledge of Cyber Security and IT disciplines

• Excellent consultancy skills, adept at leading diverse stakeholders

• Strong verbal and written communication

• Effective presentation skills to visually communicate ideas

• Experienced in facilitating online and offline workshops

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and creating structure
