Service Desk Engineer - Central London - £35,000 (Hybrid)

My client is seeking a Service Desk Engineer (1st/2nd Line Support) to join their team, offering an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development within a dynamic global company. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch desktop, server, and software troubleshooting and support, consistently demonstrating the highest level of technical expertise, responsiveness, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support for the Customer base, including troubleshooting software, hardware, and business applications.
  • Help with IT Projects & Migrations
  • Assist with new starters, PC builds and Office Set up and moves
  • Manage the backups, database and software

The ideal candidate will have/be able to:

  • Previous Helpdesk Experience (Telephone/Email/Face-to-Face Support)
  • Strong customer/client service
  • Great written and communication skills
  • Hardware Setups - Laptops, PCs, Macs and Mobiles for End Users
  • Proficient with Windows 10/11
  • Basic Networking Knowledge
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy
  • Office 365
  • Excellent communication skills and team player
  • Be decisive and have the passion to problem-solve
  • IT Certifications are an Added Bonus (CompTIA, MCP etc)
