The role
Our client is looking for a Service Desk Engineer to join their newly created Technology team, providing first and second line support to a remote working user base.
What you'll do
- Install & configure hardware, operating systems and applications.
- Assist with the use and maintenance of corporate security systems.
- Meet SLA targets for Service Desk based upon Incident, Problem & Change Management.
- Building & updating images on EndPoint Manager.
- Respond to Service Desk level 1 & 2 support queries.
- Set-up new starter accounts and hardware.
- Support Azure Virtual Desktop & provide support for the Microsoft 365 stack.
What you'll need
- Service Desk Experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365, Server 2019 & Exchange Online.
- Azure Virtual Desktop and Azure Management experience.
- Experience of Azure Active Directory, Group Policy & SharePoint Permissions.
- OneDrive and SharePoint end user support.
- Previous experience with VPNs and supporting remote office locations.
- Web development or SQL knowledge would be an advantage.
- A willingness to learn new skills (particularly agile working).
- A criminal record check / DBS disclosure (if offered the position).
