A world-leading private equity firm is currently looking for an experienced Service Desk Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
In joining a small IT team you will be overseeing 1st/2nd line technical support globally through leading a dispersed Service Desk team of 5. Here you will ensure the function is run with consideration to strategy, policies, procedures & standards to deliver high-quality, customer-focused IT support while ensuring that requests, incidents, and problems are handled effectively.
Key requirements for this position include:
- Track record in the role of a Service Desk Manager, demonstrating the ability to deliver responsive, high-quality, and customer-focused IT services.
- Experience in driving innovation and continuous improvement, with a background in overseeing transformation initiatives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, adept at conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Management experience leading a globally dispersed team of Service Desk Analysts, with a proven ability to support users across different locations.
- Broad technical proficiency encompassing support or usage of a wide range of modern technologies.
- Experience working within private equity, investment management or investment banking organisations.
