Service Engineer

The Best Connection are recruiting for a full time Field Engineer to provide support to multiple sites across Ipswich, Colchester and Cambridge. The client is a well established soft beverage supplier that requires someone who has field engineering experience with basic electrical, mechanical and plumbing knowledge to service their customers.
The role: Install, service, repair or remove soft drinks dispensers as required by the customer General maintenance and upkeep of product in line with manufacturer specifications You may be required to undertake additional duties as necessary to meet the needs of the customer's business As the role is field based, the place of work will be at customers premises (in Ipswich, Cambridge and Colchester). You may also be required to work at other locations within a reasonable distance Company vehicle (no personal allowance), tools, equipment and training are included The ideal candidate would have: Field engineering experience Basic electrical, mechanical and plumbing knowledge Must be able to drive the company vehicle Ability to work weekends and bank holidays, as required by the customer Hours of work and Pay : Monday to Friday - 8:00am till 6:00pm One weekend shift every second week. This is purely on a breakdown basis and you would be told before the call day (this is not an on call basis) 25 Days holiday entitlement per holiday calendar year £28,000 per annum Additional hours paid at flat rate This is a permanent position.
