Field Service Engineer – Industrial Combustion
Location homebased with regional & occasional national travel
Seeking engineers in Midlands, M4 corridor, South East
Salary £40,000 – 48,000 (typical earnings £55 – 80k depending on overtime) + car or van + overtime / allowances + pension + 25 days holiday
39 hours / door to door pay
Overtime is not compulsory and very much optional although its generally always available
The Job:
- A mix of routine scheduled service, breakdowns / repairs, installation and commissioning projects
- Work with industrial and commercial companies providing services for burners, combustion technology, packaged plant rooms, steam & HW boilers, process, incineration, power generation.
- Electrical skills and experience required
- Stay away from home 2 nights per week on average. Regional / local work but required to cover other areas as required.
The Person:
- Electrical skills and experience required
- INDUSTRIAL gas experience essential (ideally ACS one or more of the following COGN1, CIGA, BMP1, TPCP1, CONGLP1)
- Reliable, flexible, good communication skills (internally and externally), able to speak to customers.
- Training and shadowing available for the right person but some prior qualifications & experience in industrial gas and burners required.
