Service Engineer - Scotland

Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for anyone with Service Engineering experience to work for a well-established manufacturing client's business in Glasgow. The role comes with a basic salary up to £43,000 per annum (dependant on experience). Overtime is available and paid at T1/3 in the week and double time on the weekend (and bank holidays).

Due to the nature of the business, the hiring manager is looking for someone that has previous experience with maintaining, servicing and commissioning combustion heating equipment.

As a Service Engineer, you must work away most of the week, and a typical start time will be between 6.00 - 7.30am.

To give you an idea of how this Service Engineer role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

• Maintaining, servicing, and commissioning combustion equipment
• Dealing with any electrical control and electrical system issues whilst on-site

To apply for this role you will need to have undertaken an apprenticeship or formal technical qualification. You'll also require:

• Proven electro-mechanical experience
• Combustion equipment experience
• An Industrial or commercial gas qualification
