SalaryYour future employer is looking for a Senior Field Service Engineer to join the growing business, to add support to the London area, and provide training to the team. They offer a competitive package of £40k-£45k basic salary, plus overtime, as well as a company vehicle, generous holidays and more. This is an excellent business that provides repairs and services to traditional / barista coffee machines, so previous experience working on similar equipment is essential.
Duties of the coffee machine engineer:
- Working on a range of traditional / barista coffee machines
- Previous experience training and developing engineers
- Carrying out machine repairs, services and installations
- Carrying out fault finding and diagnostics
- Working on installations and leading other team members for larger projects
- Carrying out planned maintenance
- Working alongside the technical manager
- Covering a local area, and occasionally travelling to further jobs
- Provide excellent customer service and training
- Liaise with the service team for reactive calls
Previous experience of the coffee machine engineer:
- 5 years’ engineering experience on traditional coffee machines
- Strong communication skills
- Previous leadership experience
- A strong understanding of electrical and plumbing works
- Previous fault-finding skills (use of a multimemeter)
- Full, clean UK drivers licence
Due to the nature of the position and the generous package on offer, previous engineering experience on coffee machines is essential for this role.
