Salary: £40,000-£60,000 DOE
The Ultrasound Technical Team Lead oversees engineers specializing in ultrasound, coordinating tasks, resolving technical issues, and providing guidance. Responsibilities include collaborating with management, contributing to innovation in ultrasound repair processes, and ensuring safety compliance.
Key Duties:
- Leading ultrasound field service duties.
- Acting as the technical escalation point and supporting field engineers.
- Developing and implementing training programs.
- Enhancing remote troubleshooting capabilities.
- Promoting Knowledge Base utilization for process optimization.
- Contributing to system roadmap development.
- Assisting in quality improvement projects.
- Providing safety guidance.
- Supporting recruitment efforts.
- Undertaking other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
- Certified DI equipment training completion.
- HNC/D in Electronics or equivalent.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Integrity and discretion.
- Understanding of Risk Management in medical device support.
- Management and engineering skills.
- Ability to problem-solve under pressure.

Experience:
- Previous DI imaging equipment repair experience.
- Minimum 4 years’ field service engineer experience.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards.
- Completion of relevant training programs (Desirable).
