As we experience considerable growth in our Service & Maintain department, we're currently seeking an experienced leader in Facilities Management to join our team.
Role Description The Service & Maintain Engineering Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing our commercial and industrial building services. This includes managing preventative maintenance, coordinating reactive call outs, engaging in technical problem-solving, and providing divisional leadership. While the role is predominantly office-based, occasional site visits will be required to cater to our clients' needs and to enhance business relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and coordinating tasks within the Facilities Management & Servicing environment.
- Communicating effectively with Cosaf’s customers, management, and engineering teams.
- Responding swiftly to emergency call outs and competently diagnosing problems.
- Managing service and maintenance workflows and administration tasks.
- Understanding and maintaining budgets and margins.
- Applying knowledge of Building Services (training provided as needed).
- Managing site operatives, ensuring continuity, and dealing with site issues promptly.
- Ensuring health and safety compliance, including generating Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in the Facilities Management environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Competence in using software platforms for work allocation and progress tracking.
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
