Service Manager – Built Estate
Northallerton
£38,000 per annum
Mainstay have an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to work for a leading Facilities Service Provider.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing large or multiple sites with a hard and soft service background.
You Responsibilities will involve:
Develop scope of works based on a client issued statement of need, assist client as required.
Produce rough order of costs when required to assist client with budget planning.
Responsible for driving the project through to completion, assessing risks and managing accordingly.
Oversee delivery of Billable Works in accordance with Government Regulatory and Statutory undertakings, complying with all Health & Safety and Environmental standards and policies.
Monitor Supply Chain teams to ensure suitably qualified and experienced operatives are directed to relevant tasks.
Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure they are to an acceptable standard.
Confer with local client representatives, the Local Customer Service Representative and the relevant Site Manager to agree scope, priorities and delivery programmes of Billable Works on a regular basis.
Progress tasks end to end through a CAFM system (Maximo)
Ensure all documentation relating to Billable Works are completed and distributed in a timely manner, including upload to the system.
Support end users and management in providing optimal solutions to customer requirements to resolve end user issues, where possible.
Assist in the resolution of complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Manage cost and stakeholder expectation through excellent communication and sound commercial decisions to ensure value for money.
Work with all stakeholders to support the management and mitigation of contract risk.
Ensure appropriate work plans and budgets are in place to achieve programmes and financial commitments, whilst meeting the changing operational need.Candidate:
Level 4 Facilities Management Qualification or Equivalent
Experience in managing day-to-day operational Facilities Management
To have lived knowledge of the working with planned maintenance, response maintenance and project management of small projects.
To be open to take on additional responsibilities such as Authorised person.
HNC or Suitable Equivalent Qualification in a Building, Mechanical or Facilities Management Discipline
Advantageous to be a member of a suitable professional body.
Advantageous to have a qualification in asset management
