We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager for a reputable car dealership in Dundee. As a Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the service department, delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the service department, including managing a team of technicians and service advisors.
- Ensure that all customer inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Monitor and maintain the service department's performance, ensuring that targets and KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the scheduling and allocation of work to technicians, ensuring that all repairs and maintenance are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of service and repair history, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and parts, to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is essential.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Sound technical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
- Proven track record of achieving targets and delivering results.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software relevant to the role.
- A valid UK driving license.
