Service Technician And Mot Tester

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Service Technician and MOT Tester for our client, a well established Car Dealership. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, along with the necessary qualifications to conduct MOT tests.

Responsibilities:

Vehicle Servicing and Repairs:

• • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in various vehicle systems.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions.

MOT Testing:

• • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Record and report any defects or issues identified during MOT inspections.

Customer Interaction:

• • Ensure excellent customer satisfaction through professional interactions and informative accurate cost estimations for repairs.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

• • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all services performed, including inspection results and test outcomes.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for MOT tests and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Accredited certification as a Vehicle Service Technician.
• MOT Tester qualification accredited by an approved body.
• Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent understanding of automotive systems and technology.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.

Hours:

• Monday – Friday 8:30am – 17:30pm
• 1 in 3 Saturdays
