Main Duties
The Fashion and Textiles department is looking for an experienced, dynamic tutor to teach our beginners and mixed-ability Fashion and Textiles courses. Teaching will start from September 24.
Skills and Experience Required
The ideal candidate would have previous experience of teaching adults in all or some of these areas: Beginners Fashion / Pattern cutting, Advanced Fashion / Pattern cutting. Classes with run over 3 terms on a Wednesday day time, 2 evenings and some Saturdays.
Saturday: Learn to Sew
4 Saturdays per term for 3 terms – 10-2.30pm (12 classes/year)
Wednesday: Clothes Making for Beginners
10 classes per term for 3 terms – Wed 2-5pm (30 classes/year)
Fashion Workshop – Project based classes for Intermediate/advanced Learners
10 classes per term for 3 terms – Wed 10-1pm (30 classes/year)
Tuesday evening: Advanced Pattern Cutting
10 classes per term for 3 terms – Tue 6-9pm (30 classes/year)
Thursday evening: Beginners Pattern Cutting
2 x 5 classes per term for 3 terms – Thu 6-9pm, (30 classes/year)
