Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Sewing Machinist to join our team specialising in the production and fabrication of inflatable structures. The ideal candidate will have experience operating twin needle industrial sewing machines as well as support the production team as required to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the product line.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Operate industrial sewing machines to fabricate inflatable structures according to specifications and design requirements for various assemblies, PVC and other materials.
- Light manufacturing assembly (cutting, sorting and gluing)
- Additional machinery operation (e.g., cutting table, heat press)
- Assisting the production team
- Any other ad-hoc duties as instructed by the shop floor foreman or Managing Director.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as an industrial Sewing Machinist, preferably in the production enviroment or similar textile-based products.
- Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and related equipment.
- Understanding of safety procedures and guidelines related to industrial sewing and manufacturing.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in sewing and assembly processes.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
