About the job

Salary: £33,945 - £36,648
Working Pattern: Full time (37 hours per week)
Contract Length: Permanent
Location: Burnside, Burgess Hill - County wide travel

Please note you will need to be able to travel independently around the county, including to areas that may not be easily accessible by public transport. Pool cars and pool bikes are available.

• Patient, confident and with a drive develop your team to help steer the growth of the service.
• Prepared to travel County wide to support the team as required

*Please note on occasion there may be out of hours call outs beyond your standard Monday - Friday hours

About the Shared Lives Scheme

The Shared Lives Scheme consists of over 100 households where approved trained and highly skilled Shared Lives carers open their own family homes to provide care and support on a long- and short-term basis.

The Shared Lives Scheme recruits' individuals, couples or families who can provide family-based accommodation and support for adults with a learning disability and individuals from other vulnerable adult groups. The Scheme allows customers to live full and independent lives, which includes long- and short-term care and support.

Within the role you will undertake provider safeguarding investigations and will be involved, as required, in the recruitment, assessment, monitoring and supporting of Shared Lives Carers, including the planning, and reviewing of both the people we support and the carers.
