Principal People are currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for a SHEQ Advisor to join a fast-growing & dynamic Infrastructure company, predominantly working within the Highways sector. Working in a hybrid format, you will cover sites across Northeast London and have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced and proactive SHEQ leader in a business which is striving to create a positive and proactive Health and Safety culture.
With offices in Essex, this exciting opportunity lends itself well to a professional who is seeking a site-based position who is experienced, passionate and can communicate concisely to site teams and clients. The business is seeking a confident, strong communicator who has a natural ability to problem solve, in return the business intrusts its employees to hold autonomy and work on a multi-site, hybrid basis, planning your day to day as you see fit.
Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Advisor - £45,000 - £55,000 + Car or Car Allowance of £5,000 + Pension – Annual Leave + Discretionary Bonus - London & Essex - REF: 614136
Key responsibilities of this Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Advisor include:

• Conducting site audits
• Building relationships on site
• Delivering training and mentoring
• Delivering Toolbox talks
• Attending site and office meetings
• Liaising regularly with site teams
• Carrying out Accident Investigations
• Delivering Training

The successful Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Advisor will hold:

• Experience in Infrastructure or Construction Industry
• NEBOSH General or equivalent
• Full UK Driver’s License

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ Years experience within Construction or Infrastructure
• NEBOSH Construction or equivalent
• NRSWA
• SMSTS
• Member of IOSH
• Temporary Works
• Environmental Certificate / Membership
