SHEQ&S Advisor (Quality Emphasis) - Hybrid: Mostly Remote
As our client experiences exciting growth, we're on the lookout for a skilled and seasoned SHEQ&S Advisor to become an integral part of their dynamic team. In this role, you'll provide vital support and guidance across Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, and Security for our business units. Joining our SHEQS department, you'll play a pivotal role in upholding the compliance and efficiency of our management systems.
As a SHEQ&S Advisor with us, you'll have the chance to:
- Conduct comprehensive SHEQ&S audits and inspections of MRF and field-based operations.
- Develop and produce high-quality SHEQ&S documentation.
- Deliver engaging internal SHEQ&S training sessions.
- Offer valuable support and advice on supplier and contractor evaluation and audit processes.
- Assist in both Regulatory and 3rd party audits.
- Contribute to the evolution of our Integrated Management Systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support and champion our company SHEQ&S culture.
- Actively promote awareness and implementation of SHEQ&S policy.
- Monitor, audit, and review compliance with relevant management systems by employees and suppliers.
- Provide expert SHEQ&S advice to employees and management.
- Facilitate positive interactions with customers, suppliers, auditors, and regulators.
- Contribute to management reports, including valuable performance statistics.
- Report, assess, and investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and non-conformities.
- Collate and disseminate SHEQ&S statistical information.
- Actively participate in SHEQ&S meetings and ensure effective communication of meeting minutes.
- Chair and report on Safety Representative meetings outside MRF.
- Ensure thorough preparation, review, and feedback on risk assessments and method statements.
Training / Qualifications:
- IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) – Desirable
- Membership of professional body(s) e.g., IOSH, CQI, IEMA - Desirable
- Appropriate Qualification in Quality Management e.g., PCQI, MCQI, Diploma, etc.
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent such as NVQ – Desirable
Competencies / Skills:
- Essential knowledge of Project Quality and Management Systems.
