SalaryMy client situated in Bolton is looking for a Shift Engineer (Production) to add their growing team within the Engineering department.
Working Hours – Shift Engineer (Production) Rotating Panama pattern 06:00 – 18:00, 18:00 – 06:00
The role – Working as part an Engineering shift team to ensure a high level of Engineering Service to all functions.
General Skills - Shift Engineer (Production)
- Good Engineering Knowledge gained within a Maintenance FMCG environment.
- Self-managed and able to demonstrate a good level of performance.
- Multi-skilled, ONC / NVQ3 or higher in Maintenance engineering.
- Good communication and IT skills.
Key duties and Skills required:
- Quick response to breakdowns and its rectification, ensuring that all work is carried out in an effective and safe manner.
- Ensure all reports and records are completed correctly and issued within the correct timescales.
- Fully support improvement inchoatives and development of the Engineering department to enable the business to grow.
- To Ensure the achievements of the Engineering KPIs and targets are met.
- Be part of the corrective and planned maintenance programs
- Assist in the development, input and the fully utilisation of the CMMS program
- Mentor and support other team members.
- Ensure a good working relationship with production and all support functions
- To ensure all Company procedures and rules are adhered to.
- Health and Safety standards.
- Food Hygiene standards.
- To ensure all plant and equipment are maintained and kept operational and safe.
- To establish an effective working relationship with Production and ensure regular communication and feedback
- To identify and implement labour saving and productivity improvements in conjunction with production teams.
- Provide engineering and technical support / training for Line Technicians
