Purpose and ResponsibilitiesYou will be a key member of the maintenance team, supervising team members to ensure that all standards of operation are followed at all times and service expectations are exceeded. Ensuring that through the promotion of knowledge, expertise and personality, incredible experiences are created, and a great reception and welcome is delivered for everyone.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Implementing the standards of performance, ensuring all activities are completed and following health and safety and hotel guidelines.
- Performing day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance within all areas of the hotel, prioritising and supervising maintenance activities.
- Responding promptly, efficiently and professionally to all guest and colleague requests.
- Working with all areas of the hotel to ensure a coordinated approach to our guests, and delivering a 5* service at all times.
- A willing and helpful attitude to professionally deliver 5* service to guests and colleagues.
- A City and Guilds NVQ or equivalent diploma in either electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing or carpentry.
- Experience of supervising a maintenance team.
- Previous experience as Shift Engineer in a similar hotel environment.
- 40-hour working week, across a variety of shifts, including weekends, bank holidays, covering the maintenance department from 7am to 11pm, with a 30-minute break included.
