Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain data centre infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and power distribution systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks and respond promptly to equipment failures or alarms.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment repairs and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for data centre operations.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a data centre environment.
- Strong technical skills in areas such as server hardware, networking, and power systems.
- Familiarity with data centre management tools and monitoring systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, etc.) are a plus.
