Shift HVAC Engineer
Ware - Permanent Position
We are looking for an experienced HVAC technician , to provide and maintain a high level of building maintenance support to our clients. You will be part of a team of technical support staff that ensure that the service provided meets the contractual requirements and complies with all relevant regulations and laws. You will assist in supervising contractors and sub-contractors and ensure compliance with all statutory obligations.
Shift pattern:
Working on a double day shift pattern rotating an alternative weeks. Earlies: 07.00am-3.00pm. Lates: 12.30pm-9.00pm
You should be capable of having a flexible approach to work and working hours (subject to the EU Working Time Directive), with a pro-active and positive approach to work. You will be expected to effectively prioritise your own workload whilst assisting other engineers/staff with their duties as required, being aware of the business continuity plan for the part of the business you work in.
You should have strong knowledge and be able to undertake all facets of maintenance and installation requirements as required in the scope of the contract, ensuring that the day-to-day planned preventative maintenance activities of building maintenance is completed in line with contractual obligations. All assets should be maintained in accordance with the O&M Manuals, alongside compliance with all Health & Safety Legislation and Company Policy (fire regulations, COSHH, safe working practises, PPE, PAT testing etc).
Requirements:
Experience of maintenance, testing and fault finding on a variety of equipment including HVAC systems .Knowledge of working on BMS systems.· Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC system.· Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. Proven work experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role Identifying maintenance risks on equipment
Qualifications: min 3 years of experience in the HVAC/AC field .NVQ level 2 or eqivalent essential, NVQ lvl 3 and F gas desirable
You should be committed to the delivery of excellent customer service. You should have a good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and building Statutory Compliance and be able to apply this to the role. It is essential you can carry tools and equipment by hand of up to 20kg, be able to ascend/descend vertical access equipment, work at heights, are available to join a call out rota, and hold a full UK driving license.
The successful candidate will undergo a BPSS Security Check - Post Employment if made successful for this position.
