SalaryThis role is offering a salary of £24,960 per annum (£12 per hour), working Monday to Friday 6am-2pm (0600-1400) one week, and then 8am-4.30pm (0800-1630) the next week, rotating weekly.
As Shipping Coordinator you will be working as part of a wider logistics team with the following responsibilities:
- Raising shipping paperwork and invoices prior to shipment
- Liaise with distribution to ensure smooth shipment of orders for the UK and overseas.
- Coordinate and consolidation of all shipments via courier/freight forwarder
- Production of material certification, test certification and documentation in accordance with order requirements and aerospace industry
- Negotiate prices and arrange a collection or delivery of goods as and when required
- Perform internal processing of work orders daily through their internal management system (eSTELPLAN)
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience as a Shipping Coordinator, Logistics Administrator, Exports Administrator or similar
- Good working knowledge of Incoterms (DDP – Delivered Duty Paid, FOB – Free on Board, FCA – Free Carrier)
- Ability to understand and interpret customs documents and processes
- Strong IT skills with competence in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook and previous experience with order processing systems
- Confident communicator both verbally and in writing
