SalaryWe are partnering with a Manufacturer seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join their team in Essex.
The position offers hybrid working 2 days per week.
Responsibilities;
- Arranging deliveries to customers and from customers
- Obtaining freight rates
- Preparing CLP labels to warehouse
- Resolving any problems with incoming shipments
- Monitoring customer services emails
- Arranging transfer of goods between warehouse
- Progressing shipments and deliveries by liaising with suppliers, brokers, customers and haulage/shipping companies.
- Entering deliveries into system from warehouse
- Arranging of materials with warehouse for repacking
- Monitoring of the stock list
- Working with the sales departments
- Preparation of documents such as DGN, COA, packing list, certificates of origin, health certificates, ATR1 documents
- Arranging clearances of materials
- Sending shipping instructions to agents and shippers
- Work alongside warehouses regarding deliveries and any issues
- Issuing goods inward notices
Skills Required;
- Experience working within a shipping/logistics position
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in MS office
- Experience working with a warehouse and shippers
- Imports/exports experience
