Shopkeeper

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Day – to – Day running of the dry cleaning plant to ensure items are dispatched on time and cleaned to a very high standard
• To manage the laundry procedures and required through put of laundry, thereby preventing unnecessary build up
• To ensure that laundry is identified for appropriate loads
• To ensure a regular supply of detergent
• To be responsible for the maintenance of the laundry equipment and the de-fluffing of the dryer, reporting any defects to the senior member of staff on duty
• To ensure that soiled and infectious linen is kept separate and washed accordingly
• To distribute clothes into the resident’s rooms
• To ensure the correct marking of the residents clothes
• To keep the laundry room and store area tidy, clean and hygienic
• Participate in training and support meetings as required

Skill/experience/qualifications:

• Bachelor &/Master’s degree or a related study and experience
• Understanding of laundry systems, machinery, and processes
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, with individuals both orally and writing
• An ability to learn and adapt to new processes and new systems
• Creative approach to problem solving

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

• Performance bonus
