Salary: £26,000 per annum plus overtime available
Location: Wetherby, LS23 7FJ.
 
Are you skilled at bringing design concepts to life through eye-catching signage? We're looking for a talented Sign Maker to join the team and play a key role in delivering high-quality signage that exceeds client expectations.
 
Responsibilities:
 
Sign Making

• Precise Execution: Cut, weed, and tape products according to specifications with meticulous attention to detail.
• Expert Mounting: Skilfully mount various materials to create visually appealing signs.
• Lamination: Ensure proper lamination based on job requirements.
• Finishing Touches: Guarantee every sign meets our quality standards before dispatching.
• Packaging: Efficiently package signs following our process for safe delivery.

Vinyl Cutting

• Material Management: Utilize specified materials for vinyl cutting, making cost-effective decisions.
• Autonomy within Guidelines: Exercise autonomy while adhering to guidelines for optimal results.
• Efficiency: Minimize material waste and costs through streamlined usage.
• Balancing Cost and Quality: Implement cost-effective practices without compromising on quality.

Work Environment Management

• Time Management: Complete sign-making processes efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Organisation: Maintain a tidy work environment for safety and efficiency.
• Workspace Optimisation: Label materials and products for easy access and streamlined operations.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends and techniques to enhance skills.
• Process Compliance: Follow procedures diligently using SFDC for accurate signoffs.

Quality Assurance 

• Commitment to Excellence: Execute each process to the highest standards.
• Thoroughness: Take the necessary time to ensure each step is completed correctly.
• Adherence to Best Practices: Follow established practices for quality assurance.
• Understanding Requirements: Fully comprehend job specifications before starting work.
• Transparent Communication: Report mistakes promptly and follow procedures for resolution. 

Requirements:

• Proficiency in sign-making techniques ideally with 3 – 5yrs experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Effective communication skills
