Site Based Electromechanical Engineer

Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Site Based Electromechanical Engineer based in Milton Keynes for a print company.

Salary: GBP38,000 - GBP42,000 including shift allowance
Location: Milton Keynes
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 4 Weekly shift patterns 6am - 6pm with weekend working.
The role

As the Site Based Electromechanical Engineer your role will involve the following important duties:

• Maintenance of production equipment.
• Diagnosis of Mechanical/Electrical faults.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Liaise with suppliers of production equipment.
• Source spare parts as required.
• Maintain stock levels of critical parts.

The experience required

As a successful Site Based Electromechanical Engineer, you will have the following:

• 2 years of equipment maintenance experience in a fast-paced production environment, with a strong electronics background.
• 3 years of mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• City & Guilds/NVQ or comparable qualification essential.
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671) City & Guilds 2382 qualification preferred.
• Strong diagnostic skills.
• Manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive manual tasks including lifting, carrying, standing, squatting, crawling etc.
• Organisational skills.
• Attention to detail.
