SalarySphere Solutions are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to work with a large, Tier 1 building Contractor in Cardiff on a permanent basis. The role will involve covering projects predominantly across the Gwent area (projects are mainly schools and commercial buildings).
The role would typically include the following responsibilities:
- Controlling positions and levels on multiple construction sites
- Quantifying and procurement of materials
- Controlling labour on site
- Ensuring high standards of health, safety and quality are achieved by producing Construction
- Phase Plans and RAMS
- Programming work activities to ensure deadlines are achieved
- Assisting Project Manager/Site Agent with their duties
- Mentoring apprentice engineers
This role would suit an experienced Site Engineer from either a construction or civil engineering background who is able to commute to the Gwent area on a regular basis, and is open to a permanent role with a very reputable main contractor.
