This is a brill 22 Mil growing Manufacturing business. You will be mechanically biased and a self-starter - able to take responsibility and make a difference!
Basic salary £45,000, 33 days holidays plus overtime paid at time and 1/3 (£29 per hour)
Realistic earning potential in this full-time (39 hours per week) permanent role is equivalent to between £55,000 - £65,000 with overtime.
Working in teams of 2-4 on Site - These guys are a specialist in the Midlands.

Job Purpose/Objective:
The On-Site Engineer/Fitter conducts installation and maintenance tasks at customer sites.
Their responsibilities include installing, assembling, and maintaining a variety of equipment and fabrications.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Undertake Site Engineering work as directed by the Installations Manager.
- Install, assemble, and maintain mechanical and process equipment.
- Perform tasks such as welding, drilling, steel cutting, chemical handling, and cleaning.
- Operate mechanical lifting equipment, machinery, power tools, and hand tools.
- Handle materials and perform manual tasks.
- Escalate serious issues to line management for further direction.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- ** Prior experience as a fitter/technician in similar process industry site environments **
- Relevant qualifications acquired through vocational education, apprenticeships, and certificated courses.
- Certifications such as PASMA (for erecting scaffolding), CSCS (for construction site working), and elevated platform operator’s license along with MIG and TIG welding. (refresher courses available)
- Knowledge of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) training.
- Full driving license and valid passport.
