Form of workWe are recruiting for a Site Facilities Support to join our south Herefordshire client on a full time, permanent basis. This is an ideal position for a candidate with existing facilities management experience to support ongoing maintenance across a brand-new industrial site.
Our client is open to candidates with facilities management experience across any sector.
What you can expect:
- £12.35 per hour
- 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- 40 hour working week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm

What you will be doing:
- Responsible for completing routine maintenance checks on a daily, weekly or monthly checks as necessary
- Regular checks include fire alarm tests, spark detection, sprinkler pumps, energy readings olfactory checks, water flushing checks, water temperature checks, etc.
- Ensure all checks are recorded in a timely and accurate manner on PEMAC
- Indoor maintenance including fixing basic plumbing leaks, toilet repairs, basic carpentry and replacing fixtures
- Perform any immediate cleaning duties necessary to maintain a clean and safe facility
- Undertake any reasonable request as directed by management
What we are looking for:
- Previous facilities experience is preferred, although candidates will prior caretaking and/or trade experience will be considered
- Experience within an industrial environment would be advantageous
- Able to work autonomously
- Team player to support the team on other activities
- Computer literacy
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
