We at Ribbons & Reeves are working with a lovely school in Merton, who are looking to hire a new Site Manager to assist in the care and maintenance of the school grounds.
 
Some of the responsibilities you’ll be expected to undertake include being responsible for unlocking and locking the facilities at the beginning and end of each day, carrying out general maintenance tasks as required, and ensuring the school grounds are kept in a clean, well-maintained state.
 
Site Manager Job Summary:

• Salary: £29,000-£35,000
• Assist in general school maintenance, liaising with Estate Manager
• Daily inspection of school grounds, reporting any defects and making appropriate arrangements.
• Handling refuses collection and removal.
• Maintaining the school’s minibuses, clearing their interior and exterior when necessary, and performing shuttle bus runs.

 
Site Manager Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working at schools.
• Possession of relevant qualifications and training, e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH, COSHH.
• Possession of clean driver’s license.
• DIY proficient, understanding of heating, plumbing and electrical systems.

 
The ideal Site Manager candidate will also be well-organised, able to plan and carry out work on the school grounds and gardens, keeping them in good order throughout the year.
