Site Manager

Salter Grange are currently looking for a strong Site Manager - working for a growing developer on a North London residential project.
You will work closely with the Senior Site team looking supporting all day-to-day site activities.
The role will suit a Site Manager coming from a main contractor background with at least 4-5 years of site experience, working on projects ideally from inception to completion. 

Responsibilities:

• Supporting Project Manager.
• To follow construction drawings and works information.
• Liaising with the client, consultants, contract administrator, head office etc
• To be responsible for the accurate completion of site-based documentation
• Ensuring compliance on-site at all times to the company health and safety, and overall quality standards.
• Coordinating labour and resources on-site, subcontractor management.
• Undertaking company-directed quality control procedures and inspections at the correct timings and rectifying any defects as advised.

Requirements:

• An all-rounder understanding of the sequence of work, construction processes and procedures. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong IT skills – the ability to use various softwares
• High attention to detail, team player
• Trade background or HND/NVQ qualifications / degree educated.
• Site experience working on a residential development.
