Job Advert: Site Manager (Welwyn Garden City)
Are you an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in Planned Maintenance? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a leading Property Services company based in the Hertford area. As a Site Manager, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing Planned works related to Decent Homes, including kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, and windows. Additionally, you'll be involved in retrofit and decarbonisation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Coordinate and manage all aspects of planned maintenance projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Subcontractor Management: Oversee subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
• Health and Safety: Demonstrate strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
• Client Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Operational Delivery: Efficiently manage engineers and subcontractors to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven track record in a similar role, specifically within Planned and Cyclical works and management of subcontractors on a large project
• Certifications: Hold a Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certificate.
• Construction Knowledge: Excellent understanding of construction methods, technology, and materials.
• IT Skills: Familiarity with IT applications such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Power Project.
• First Aid: Possess an HSE-recognized First Aid at Work qualification.
