Credit Control

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are excited to be partnering with a leading business in the Gainsborough area, who are seeking a confident and knowledgeable Credit Controller to join their team on a full time, 6 month fixed term contract. 

We are currently looking for an experienced Credit Control professional who has proven debt collection / account reconciliation experience to be able to jump in and hit the ground running in a stand-alone position!
Duties & Responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include:

• Ensuring customers pay within their agreed payment terms
• Chasing outstanding customer payment via email, letter, and phone
• Processing card payment
• Reconciling card payments
• Allocation of payments
• Setting up new customers
• Sending copy invoices where required
• Scanning sales invoices, renaming, and filing

Required experience for Credit Controller:

• At least 2 years’ experience of working in a Credit Control role.
• Analytical skills and thorough attention to detail
• Be competent using Microsoft Office
• Ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
• Good communications skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage workload and prioritise.
• Excellent customer service
• Attention to detail
• The ability to listen and negotiate with customers.
• Excellent verbal communications
