Based at Long Lee Primary School
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Site Manager to join our committed and friendly team of staff based at Long Lee Primary School.
Experience preferred but not essential.
The Footprints Federation comprises of two very different schools and is able to provide excellent career and training opportunities both within and across the two sites offering a genuine interest in you.

The successful candidate will use their own initiative and will be responsible for the cleanliness, safety and security of the building and grounds, heating, lighting, general maintenance around the school and ensuring Health & Safety compliance on site.
Previous experience of premises management in an educational environment, along with Health and Safety knowledge would be advantageous. The candidate will be expected to carry out all the responsibilities of a key holder - opening and locking the school and emergency call outs.
The successful candidate will:
- Manage the site, buildings and grounds and maintaining a clean, safe, and purposeful environment.
- Take responsibility for security and Health and Safety.
- Have a good knowledge of Health and Safety procedures, including IOSH, and COSHH.
- Undertake a range of minor repairs, maintenance and decorating.
- Be a positive, hardworking and friendly team player.
- Manage the cleaning team.
- Be able to identify work priorities and manage own workload, whilst ensuring that other work is kept up to date
- Be flexible and able to work across our other site, occasional weekend or late evenings if required.
- Undertake some grounds maintenance.
- Have a full, clean driving licence
Full training and induction will be provided for successful candidates.
