Role Overview: My client is seeking a dedicated Site Manager, specialising in residential and refurbishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects, adhering to high-quality standards, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site, including scheduling, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Oversee all aspects of the construction process, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Supervise and motivate on-site teams to achieve project milestones and quality objectives.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, architects, and stakeholders to address any concerns and ensure project specifications are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of craftsmanship and in accordance with building regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential construction projects, preferably in high-end properties.
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme), SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), and First Aid certifications are essential.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and build collaborative relationships.
- A track record of loyalty and commitment to previous employers, demonstrating stability in job tenure.
- Sound knowledge of building and joinery techniques
