Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and organized Project Manager to contribute to our Solar PV projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in project management, encompassing design, construction, and installation aspects of solar PV sites.
Responsibilities:
- Project management of Solar PV site design, construction, and installation.
- Oversight of design, construction, and operation for medium-large scale wind farms.
- Management of Health and Safety, including risk assessments and method statements.
- Supervision of design engineers and subcontractors.
- Project design, estimation/budgeting, and procurement.
- Technical input for feasibility stage projects.
- Liaison with clients, DNOs, suppliers, and consultants.
- Conducting site visits to assess solar installation suitability.
- Fostering a collaborative relationship with clients.
- Flexibility to travel throughout the UK.
Essential Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience in the renewable energy industry, with a focus on commercial solar PV design, installation, and operation.
- Strong commitment to health and safety, with knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Understanding of solar project finances.
- Methodical, accurate, and process-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Excel.
- Working knowledge of 2D AutoCAD.
- Driving License.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- NEBOSH, IOSH, SMSTS, working at height certifications.
- Experience using ArcGIS.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Civil3D.
