Site Supervisor

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing our project sites in the London area and ensuring that all work adheres to project plans and safety regulations.

As a Site Supervisor for Anglian Dental you will be supporting the day-to-day operations on the project site, managing engineers and subcontractors, and liaising with clients and other stakeholders. Your collaboration with Project Managers and Installation Managers will be crucial in ensuring that all on-site operations align with the project’s scope and schedule, ultimately fulfilling client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site activities and conduct regular inspections to ensure that they align with the project plans, local building regulations and quality standards on two or three projects at any one time.
• Manage on-site resources, including subcontractors, materials, engineers and equipment.
• Coordinate with our Purchasing Team and Dental Equipment Installation Managers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Ensure that all on-site activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Communicate with clients, team members and other stakeholders to keep them updated on the project’s progress. You will be the primary contact that the client and any site operatives have with the project.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks or issues that could impact the project.
• Work closely with the Project Managers and Installation Managers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Build strong relationships with clients to ensure a clear understanding of project results and their satisfaction with the progress and quality of work.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure project feedback between departments are actioned.
• Provide on-site guidance to subcontractors, if needed.
• Maintain accurate records of on-site activities.
• Oversee multiple projects/sites concurrently.
• Undertake ad-hoc hands on tasks as necessary.
• Organise snag visits post project completion and if necessary carry out small tasks yourself

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of quality standards and safety regulations.
• SSSTS qualification or equivalent is a must. SMSTS training will be provided.
• Demonstrated ability to manage site operatives
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
• Back ground in carpentry is preferable.
• Ability to identify and mitigate potential risks or issues that could impact the project.
• Ability to provide on-site training and guidance to engineers and subcontractors, if needed.
• Ability to maintain accurate records of on-site activities.
• Ability to manage multiple sites concurrently.
