As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team.
Role Overview:
As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations at construction sites in Wandsworth. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This role requires a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent leadership skills and a strong knowledge of construction processes. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in similar roles and a passion for delivering successful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site, maintaining a safe working environment for all workers.
- Supervise the construction activities, including coordinating and scheduling subcontractors.
- Monitor and inspect the quality of work being carried out, ensuring it meets project specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of site progress, including daily reports, materials, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with the project team, including architects, engineers, and clients.
- Identify and address any potential issues or delays, taking proactive measures to resolve them.
- Provide guidance and support to site workers, ensuring they have the necessary resources to complete their tasks efficiently.
- Conduct regular site meetings to discuss progress, goals, and any challenges.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar Site supervisor roles.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, including health and safety regulations.
- Proven experience in managing construction projects within the Local authority sector.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Valid CSCS card and relevant qualifications in construction-related disciplines preferred.
