Information Technology Services (ITS) delivers digital services to over 17,500 students and approx. 2,000 staff. Our vision is for IT to be an integral valued business partner to the University, continually improving the level of service provided to our student and staff community.
You will be a member of the Student Information Development team, you will support the development of the Universities student record system (SITS), ensuring that it meets the needs of applicants, students and staff. This role requires candidates with a basic knowledge of student systems and the applicant/student lifecycle and full training will be available to support the successful candidate to take on the challenge of SITS developments.

You should have the ability to resolve issues without clear or pre-defined solutions. Excellent customer service focus and being passionate about delivering an exemplary customer experience and satisfaction is vital. You should be self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and take ownership of problems, organize, prioritize and monitor your own work and others to meet deadlines whilst maintaining standards. You will also have the ability to operate in a changing and uncertain working environment demonstrating resilience, versatility and being receptive and adaptable to accommodate new ideas and ways of working.

Our key functions are to innovate, implement and support an extensive range of digital services across the University to assist our community access and process information to achieve their goals.

This is a full time, permanent position with a starting salary of £27,804 per annum.
