Please note interviews for this role will be held on Wednesday 10th April 2024.  The University of Chester is seeking two innovative SITs/eVision Student Record System Developers to join our esteemed Registry Services department. These are permanent positions offering a gateway to a career in higher education. Key Responsibilities: Working as part of a small team and a larger department, the post holders will play a key role in the maintenance and development of the Tribal SITS Student Records system, which spans both a client-based and web interfaces. Duties will encompass the full spectrum of online business process development, from content design and build to rigorous testing and seamless deployment. By enhancing these systems, you will directly contribute to the continual improvement of services for our valued students and staff. Additionally, the successful role holders will provide crucial support to our Data & Systems Manager in the management of SITS. This will involve harnessing various external reporting tools to extract, manipulate, and deliver information to both internal stakeholders and external partners.  Qualifications and Skills: Successful candidates will be educated to degree level and/or equivalent professional or technical qualifications in an IT-related field. Essential attributes include hands-on experience in web development, data management, information generation and reporting. Some knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery would also be advantageous.  While experience with SITS and higher education environments is desirable, we welcome applicants with technical proficiency and experience in handling large complex databases from diverse sectors.
