Preferably, you would have experience working within the Care Sector. But not a requirement.
The role will be varied, and no 2 days are ever the same. Reporting into the Home Care Manager and the Office Manager, you will also be supporting the wider team with any tasks they require.
We are seeking someone with the following skills:
- IT Literate with practical understanding and knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel & Outlook applications.
- A high standard of written and spoken English with excellent communication skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey important information accurately and consistently to clients, family members and external providers including District Nurses, Social Services, and other health care professionals.
- A positive attitude that will enable you to meet and exceed targets.
- The successful candidate will possess exceptional organisational skills, time management skills, and have experience of communicating with people at all levels.
- Pro-active & works well under pressure.
- Tact, discretion, and respect for confidentiality
- Knowledge & Understanding of CQC Standards and ensuring carers are working to these standards.
Your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Dealing with telephone and e-mail enquiries.
- Creating and maintaining filing system.
- Liaising with staff in other departments and with external contacts.
- Organising client files for use in the field.
- Assist with recruitment when needed (training to be offered).
- Assist with the management of staff holidays.
