Sliding Head Cnc Programmer/Setter/Operator

We are currently working with a well respected precision engineering firm in the Dudley area that currently seeking a fully skilled Sliding Head CNC Machine Programmer/Setter/Operator for their day shift position. Our client is dedicated to delivering high-quality products to their customers

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Set up, and operate Citizen and Star Sliding Head machinery
• Operating up to seven Sliding Head lathes loading material and quality checks. 75% material mild steel.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
• Collaborate with team members to identify and troubleshoot issues in the production process
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Follow company policies and procedures, as well as safety guidelines
• Hands on milling expert that can help lead that growth
• Getting more out of the existing machines and supporting in potential introduction of new work that could result in the purchase of a horizontal machine tool.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Fully skilled in Programmingsetting and operating Citizen and Star CNC Sliding Head machines
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Familiarity with a range of Sliding Head machines, including Star, Tornos and Hanwha
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
