Key responsibilities for the Small Plant Tool Fitter

• As our Small Plant Tool Fitter you must ensure all assets are safely repaired


• Take a proactive approach to ensuring repaired assets are ready to hire


• Assess if the asset is financially viable for repair


• Ensure all records are completed accurately and in line with company procedures


• Adhere to H&S rules / procedures at all times


• Manage and record data e.g.
  time allocation and spares used, stock needed


• Assist with and attend stock takes as required

What we're looking forin our Small Plant Tool Fitter

• Experience of working with machinery and tools, both mechanical and electrical including petrol and diesel engines


• Organised and methodical approach to work, taking pride in delivery


• Our Small Plant Tool Fitter must be comfortable using IT equipment


• Awareness of the importance of quality and efficiency in the assessment and repair of assets


• ‘Can do' attitude to work and helping others where and when needed


• Mechanical / electrical qualification (desirable not essential)
