Locations: Flexible UK | We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. We will, however need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSE offices in Altrincham (Manchester); Gateshead (Newcastle);Chepstow (Bristol); Birmingham or Egham (London)

Salary:?£23,500 – £35,300 + car / cash allowance + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

SSE Smart Buildings are recruiting for our Sales Development Programme, designed to train and develop the next generation of sales people in the world of Building Controls and Building Management Systems.

Joining our Sales Development Programme will suit anyone looking for a career in sales, or wanting to take the next step in their sales career. No matter whether you’re straight from university, an internal sales position or an engineering role this programme has been designed with you in mind.

You will receive a structured sales and technical Development Programme leading to enhanced salary and incentive rewards on completion.

You will be based from home, working within a nationally delivered training programme, supported by a team based from a regional office location closest to you.

And, within a very short period of time, with the help of our industry partners, you’ll be looking after your own customers helping them on their journey to decarbonisation and net zero

What do I need?

In order to get the most out of the programme you should have:

- An appetite for selling and being customer facing.

- Communication and negotiation skills that inspire confidence and trust.

- Technical Aptitude or a willingness to learn, allowing you to translate complex concepts into accessible language.

- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to evolving challenges.

- Passion for decarbonisation, energy reduction and net zero.
