About The Role
RAC has an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our SMR Division on a Full Time, Permanent basis out of our Bescot Head Office.
This administrative role is primarily to support the SMR (Service, Maintenance and Repair) management team with any administrative tasks required to ensure the smooth running of the division.
Salary on offer is £20,481.50.
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday – Shifts fall between 8am and 6pm.

What you'll do...
- Set up and maintain trackers for all field based and contact centre teams sickness & holiday records applying a consistent approach
- Complete month end payroll returns and submit for authorisation and payment including overtime, unpaid leave, sickness & procurement cards
- Compile and submit billings and collections weekly and monthly returns for Recall, EV and Mobile Mechanics attendances for OEM and Fleet customers including our own fleet to ensure all are invoiced correctly and payment received
- Manage outstanding debt file chasing down any payments until all payments are received
- Maintain Motability attendance file and forward for payment monthly
- Look after division IT/hotel/hire car requests
- Set up all new starters with IT accounts, tools, vehicles and equipment where required
- Help organise & plan any events
- Coordinate postage or couriers for any Field Based Technician requests for parts, tools or equipment
- Knowledge of Dynamics and able to support the contact centre during periods of high demand with the taking of customer calls and making bookings
- Maintain knowledge of all customers, products and processes managed within the SMR division
- Generate reporting as and when required and ensure all colleagues are compliant with CBT completion across division

- Excellent PC Skills including Microsoft Office. Able to build spreadsheets/insight using formulas and pivot tables for absence/sickness tracking of multiple teams
- Organised and quality oriented with good analytical & written skills

- Strong Interpersonal & communication skills including with SLT & key stakeholders
- Keeps knowledge up to date for systems and processes
Experience
- Working within a customer service/ Call centre / contact centre environment
- Working as part of a team where using own initiative to resolves problems is proven
