Due to the secure nature of this project, you will be based out of our Corsham site 5 days a week.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for delivery of contracted Business As Usual SOC Protective Monitoring Services to agreed Service Levels and KPIs
- Maintain the Quality Documentation for the SOC Team and ensure all documents and working processes conform to ISO9001 and ISO27001.
- Responsibility for the Security aspects of storing SOC documents.
- Lead the SOC Incident & Problem Management, SOC Capacity Management and Service Continuity.
- Implement operational improvements to the SOC and its respective processes, with the goal to enhance the service offering and maintain an awareness of trends in security regulatory and technology.
- Develop & expand the SOC service catalogue and creation of reports, and metrics for SOC operations and presentation to management.
- Client liaison for security incident/queries, reported by SOC (Escalations, additional investigations)
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Previous experience as a SOC Manager/Lead.
- Report Writing, ISO and Auditing/Incident & Problem Management.
- Change Management.
- Cyber Security Technology Overview, awareness of MITRE ATT&CK methodology, tactics and techniques and be able to apply these to detect and defend.
- Principles of Cyber Threat Intelligence, intelligence collection, direction, review, and analysis.
