Management Accountant

If you're comfortable with month-end management accounts, now's your chance to gain a broader understanding by working in this newly-created role as the assistant to the Financial Controller.

As the Management Accountant, you'll support the Financial Controller in preparing regular financial reports for the Board, Investors, the Bank, external auditors, and tax advisors.

You'll enhance your financial analysis skills at both the entity and Group levels by identifying and investigating movements, trends, and anomalies, and collaborating with colleagues to implement necessary actions.

As you develop your business acumen as a future finance professional, you'll conduct a critical analysis of the numbers to gain a thorough understanding of the business activity behind them - quite frankly, there's no better role to gain a 360-degree understanding of a soon to be £300m turnover business.

This role is broad - you'll analyse customer pricing and profit margins to drive operational improvements.

Support the Finance Director and the Financial Controller on project work, such as establishing new entities (UK & Overseas) and integrating them into the financial reporting process.

You'll be supported all the way and closely mentored by the Financial Controller, who has a strong track record of developing students in their previous employment.

You're trusted to deliver your best work, whether from home or the office, so you need to be self-motivated and work independently and as part of a team.

Initial training will be conducted in the office. Beyond this, you'll have the flexibility to work from home or the office, with all the team coming together in the office on Wednesdays.
