Form of workRobert Half are working in an exclusive partnership with a rapidly growing, forward thinking business in Swindon to recruit a Trainee Management Accountant to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is designed to provide comprehensive training and development opportunities, preparing the successful candidate for future advancement within the finance department. The Trainee Management Accountant role will be suitable for a AAT/ACCA/CIMA studier that is looking for exposure to management accounting and be a part of an exciting company. Salary is between £26,000 - £30,000 plus bonus, study support, hybrid working and other excellent benefits.
The Role
The main duties of the Trainee Management Accountant role will consist of:
- Assist with the production of monthly management accounts
- Assist with the preparation of the budget and forecast
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Accruals and prepayments
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Journals
- Cash flow review
- Preparing VAT returns
Requirements
To be considered for the Trainee Management Accountant role, you must ideally have the following skills/attributes:
- Ideally experience within a Finance/Accounts Assistant role or similar
- AAT/CIMA/ACCA studier
- Good attention to detail
- Strong team player
- Strong communication skills
- Hard work ethic
- Keen learner
